The Tavern of Mayfield

Food was great! Service was a little slow, took awhile for someone to take drink orders and we had to ask for everything... Refills, napkins, silverware. Overall, I would visit again for the food.

Very neat little tavern. Only dined in once and takeout once, but both times were tasty, and the service was great. Decent beer and liquor selection, too. We loved buffalo chicken wrap and easy ordering online. Overall, it is a decent local bar for a quick bite with friends and family.

I went in last night for dinner. I ordered 10 mild wings and an order of potato skins. I’ve been there MANY times for dinner and by far this was the WORST experience ever! Let’s start with the Bartender, some lady Maggie or something like that. I’m sitting at one of the small round table by the wall with my Apple air pods on listening to my music playing on my phone waiting for my food to come when she comes running over to me and starts yelling, you can’t VAPE in here. For one I don’t vape or smoke. I had my Apple air pod case sitting on the table next to my phone which looks nothing like a vape pen. Second, the wings were under cooked and I was only able to eat about half. Thirdly, with the skins, I’ve never been to a place that serve 3 small potato skins and charges $10 for them. A

This restaurant/bar is well worth the stop. Drop by, have a drink off the beautifully extensive beer list, and get lunch or dinner. The chef came out to ask how our dishes were (amazing, by the way). And we proceeded to find out the history of the location, going back to 1929. So, if you're in Mayfield Heights, stop in. 100%

Great place with good food. We had no idea they have a full kitchen burger, chips and drinks were great. The special (fish) was actually disappointing. Very small filet for the price. Get the burger.
