56 Kitchen - Mayfield Hts

Maybe I expected too much since it had pretty good reviews, so I thought it was a nicer place. Prices looked reasonable but they seem to extend the value with adding lots of potato (supposedly a side) and onion rings (also a side). There were not many shrimp and the salmon was tiny. Both shrimp and asparagus must be cooked in the same way as they were covered with garlicky oil. Broccolis were too hard to eat. We ordered "Craft Your Comfort" and added French kiss salad which should have been $4.95 according to the menu/web site but they charged $7.00. They were also stingy about wine.

Nice little establishment! We went here on a whim and were extremely surprised and pleased. Loved the atmosphere and the open kitchen. Food was great and service was excellent. My husband had the French dip and said it’s one of the best he’s ever had! Definitely will go back!

Cool little restaurant/bar with a roll- up door and nice patio. We were greeted and seated right away. They had a decent bourbon selection at the bar. Our server, Abby, was awesome. I had a few little requests she took care of immediately. We had salad, smash burgers, and pizza. They were all very good, especially the smash burger. Overall, it was great atmosphere, great food, and great service.

We had a great meal, and the service was excellent! The garlic parm wings were delicious!

Julia was absolutely amazing! From the moment we sat down, she made us feel welcomed and taken care of. She was attentive, made great recommendations for both food and drinks, and everything came out quickly and exactly how we ordered it. Her positive attitude and attention to detail really made our experience that much better. You can tell she truly cares about her guests having a great time. We’ll definitely be back and hope to have Julia as our server again!
