Very rustic, country farmhouse atmosphere with a long and interesting history! We stopped here for a snack while driving through. Very good pastries! I had a tasty almond croissant and my husband tried something too. I noticed they had some hot breakfast and other sandwiches, salads and such on the menu as well. A good spot to stop for a quick bite to eat. They also sell some little gifts. Friendly service. Relaxing place to sit for a little break.

I’m so glad I stopped by on my way back home. The iced coffee was smooth and not fruity (my preference). The breakfast sandwich was okay - the scrambled egg was overcooked for my taste and the bagel a little too toasted. Otherwise it was tasty. The space is spacious with plenty of places to sit. They have a curated little market so I bought some nectarine, a small watermelon, wine, and tomatillo salsa. Of course it was way more expensive than Shop Rite; however, I like supporting small independent businesses. Definitely visit!

I had high hopes for this place as it's close by.....We walked in at 11:10 looking for lunch sandwiches. We were told that we "could not" order from the lunch menu until 11:30. We spent the next 20 minutes sitting and staring at the whopping 8 hot items on the menu (4 hot breakfast items, 5 lunch sandwiches, plus pastries/parfaits). Once 11:30 came, we ordered a crispy chicken sandwich. It was pretty clear this was something that was just taken out of the fridge, put in the re-heat oven, and thrown together. There is NO reason they could not have just put this sandwich together in 5 minutes and sent us on our way before 11:30. They didn't even melt the cheese on a $16 sandwich. For a place that clearly really works hard on the aesthetic side of things (think "high end countryside" coffee

TL;DR - Charming atmosphere, tragic sandwich I had high hopes for The Store at Five Corners... it’s close by, it’s beautiful inside, and the vibe immediately makes you want to settle in with a good sandwich and a coffee. Unfortunately, the food didn’t live up to any of that promise. We came in excited for lunch and ended up genuinely disappointed. My sandwich was, to put it gently, joyless. The bread wasn’t toasted, the cheese wasn’t melted, and the whole thing felt rushed and cold - the culinary equivalent of being left on “read.” When you’re charging $16 for a sandwich, I don’t think it’s too much to expect basic warmth, texture, or, frankly, care. The ambiance? Chef’s kiss. The food? Still waiting for the chef’s kiss. It’s clear they’ve put heart into the space, but the kitchen feel

We stopped in on a whim for breakfast and were pleasantly surprised. We both ordered the egg custard sandwich with bacon. I’d never had an egg custard sandwich before, and I genuinely didn’t know what I’d been missing. If I had to summarize it in one word: wow. The flavors were simple but perfectly balanced, and the texture was spot on. Highly recommend stopping by for a sandwich if you’re looking for a great meal in a relaxed, casual setting.
