Love this place. It is a hidden gem in the foothills of the Berkshire mountains, tucked away in the beautiful college town of Williamstown. This place is run by a lovely couple who are always smiling and check on you, so they make you feel at home. The food is amazing, lots of vegan options, we have never had trouble finding tofu options. The entree portions are generous and well-balanced, in that, the food comes with pickled veggies and sometimes miso soup. Would definitely recommend as a lunch stop.
Here's a more descriptive version: We had an amazing experience at Korean Garden! The dishes we tried - DUKPOKI, PA JUN, TROPICAL ROLL, VEGETABLE TEMPURA, KANGPOONGKI, KIMCHI BOKUM, and TOBIKO NIGIRI - were bursting with authentic Korean flavors and freshness. The sides, especially the kimchi bokum and pickled veggies, stole the show with their bold flavors. If you're a fan of Korean cuisine, this place is a must-visit!
This gem checks every box for the full experience. Not to mention the view from the window seat is the berkshire hills. I love this place!
What a surprise to find this place in a non-descript mini strip mall. The place I was staying at, Williamstown Motel, in fact, recommended this little restaurant and I’m glad I went. If you stay at the motel, it’s only 500 feet away which is about a 5 minute walk. I recommend that you walk a little farther to the crosswalk as there’s a better chance that cars will actually stop to let you cross. The restaurant is a tiny place with 7 tables but I didn’t at all feel squished. I ordered the hot stone bibimbap and wow, so good and the perfect size for a single serving. Of course you get some sides, which is what I love about Korean food.
I never expected such a good Korean restaurant at Williamstown. Such a tasty food with excellent service. The Yakisoba was the best.
