Tunnel City Coffee

Trip to North Adams and stopped here for a breakfast. Avocado toast, coffee were great :) many seats and tables available but they will be occupied soon from college students. Nice staffs

Liked the place! Not the best, but I still enjoyed their chai and clam chowder. Atmosphere was a bit loud, but that’s because I went during peak lunch rush. It also was pretty packed, if this is the “only coffee shop in town” some more seating would be nice. But still, nice staff, overall a good place for a simple lunch and drink.

Great atmosphere and smiling employees. Had a blueberry muffin and a blueberry scone. They both looked great but the muffin was very blah and dry. The scone was very tasty and moister than the muffin.

Decided to roll the dice on the Hojicha Latte and regretted it. Just looking at it, there’s an unctuous, iridescent film on the foam, which is somehow the most palatable part of the whole experience. Actually drinking it, you’re assailed with an overwhelming flavor of seaweed. I have never been a fan of nori, but if you are, you may get more out of this drink than I did. I found the relatively strong aftertaste was not bad, but that did not motivate me to finish my latte. My girlfriend’s normal latte was very good, and I enjoyed my own less exciting drink once I cut bait on the Hojicha. The muffins were underwhelming, but not acutely bad in any way and quite large.

such a great little coffee shop! i always have a great experience here, the service is excellent and the food and drinks are delicious. highly recommend if you’re visiting williamstown!
