The Spot with A Blend of Culture

My goodness. I am in shock and awe. It’s not often Smyrna has good food - i haven’t tasted anything good in Smyrna since 2018/2019. The food choices here in Smyrna makes one want to cry. BUT THIS RESTAURANT HERE, The Spot makes me wanna click my heels and run through the streets telling someone & everyone about it. My goodness the food is so damn good and flavorful. My husband ordered chicken breast w/ mash potatoes , Mac & spinach. Talk about PLEASED and satisfied. I ordered the Pineapple Jerk Chicken over rice w/ Mac & Cabbage 11/10. It could’ve truly been a 15/10 if the basmati was Jasmine rice. That really would’ve done it for me. If you’re in Smyrna and have some working taste buds - this is the spot to be. Thank you “The Spot”, it was absolutely phenomenal. The food was incredibly tasty from start to finish. The mashed potatoes were light and fluffy, with a garlic flavor that was very present without being overpowering. It was comforting and well balanced. I appreciated that the chicken drumstick was butterflied, which immediately put me at ease, as it was clearly well cooked and done perfectly. Since it was my first visit, I played it safe with mashed potatoes, fried chicken, and spinach, and every choice paid off. Everything exceeded my expectations, and next time I’m going all in and trying more from the menu. I genuinely can’t wait for my next meal here.

My only complaint is their hours and that they are closed on Saturday. If I lived next door, I'd never cook. The salmon bombs!!!!??? They are flavorful and the amount of food in the platter is enough for 3 servings. The food was ready 30 minutes after I placed the order and it was fresh and hot. My husband had broiled salmon & again the portions were large enough for 2 and seasoned well. They do not disappoint.

My first time i ordered Brown stew chicken. I loved it. I went back a couple days later and ordered a salmon dinner. I have order the salmon every time I stop by.i have never been disappointed. Very amazed and satisfied each time i need to try more foods from there. Every time I ask a question, they are very kind to me and answers it. Thank you for dinner when I am lazy to cook

This place is amazing. I did not have high expectations, due to the lack of food here in Smyrna. We finally have a place to get real food, with a great taste. The food was cooked with care by someone who cares what they serve. Breath of fresh air or mouth full of delicious food. Either way it’s great. Thank you chef who ever you are. Please I just ask that you stay consistent with the deliciousness. I give it 2 arms up 💪🏻💪🏻
