The Spot Bar & Kitchen

This is a great little restaurant in the middle of Carolina beach. They have a nice bar and a great deck with out door seating. I had an oyster po boy sandwich with fries and it was very delicious, also the half and half ice tea was very good too. Emma was my server and she was excellent and very friendly and attentive. I will definitely be going back.

After visiting Fort Fisher in Kure Beach we went looking for a place to have a late lunch and stumbled across The Spot Bar & Kitchen. Parking was tight by my pick up truck fit pretty well. The staff was super friendly and the menu was very varied. We had the specials that day (grouper and fries and ribs and fries) with Red Oak Amber. The food was outstanding as was the service and the prices were reasonable. Sorry we don't live closer.

Stopped in to a great smelling bar with food that looked like it would rival many nearby restaurants. The locals and bartender kept things entertaining which is what was needed on a rainy day. I already had dinner plans elsewhere but it was hard not to want to order something with all the delicious food being delivered to the bar. Will definitely be back for what many regard as the best wings in town Black & Red. The complimentary Pork Skins were amazing + Thanks for a great time.

An outstandingly funky spot! Outdoor seating is plentiful and most is under cover. Dogs are welcome to join their families for drinks and/or food. The walls are covered with eclectic artwork and signage. The food was delicious and delivered with a smile. A large variety of beers and cocktails are available for your approval. I highly recommend the onion rings and the blackened shrimp wrap. My wife loved the crab cake sandwich! TWO THUMBS UP.

Toby was amazing! Great service, food, atmosphere. From my salad to desert, excellent!
