The Seafood Shack

We decided to stop in after seeing this restaurant/market from the road. We were greeted immediately and asked if we wanted to shop the market or if we were there to dine in. Once we let the waitress know we were there to dine in, we were seated immediately. The menu had something for everyone, and I was pleasantly suprised to find some great cocktails listed. We ordered an appetizer and two entrees and all of the food was amazing. I sadly didn't get a lot of photos here, but everything was excellent. Our waitress even was concerned since we weren't able to eat much (we had eaten lunch only a few hours before, it was NOT due to the quality of our meals!). If I find myself in the area again, we will definitely be patronizing this great spot for both picking up fresh market seafood to cook

They were pretty busy when we got there, but there is ample parking in the lot which is shared with a home improvement store. There are a lot of seafood options here, as can be expected. The fried shrimp with Bang N' sauce was good, and not overly sauced. Next time I'd probably try a po boy sandwhich. The bay fries (old bay seasoning) might have been a bit much, but I had to try them. The owner is friendly and makes the rounds making sure everyone is being taking care of. Just a heads up that the "smoking section" is right at the head of the walkway to the restaurant. Not really a big deal, but people seem to congregate there. There is some outdoor seating on the porch where you walk in, and it is pet friendly.

Omg! Had the most amazing food. Crab Legs cooked perfect and the hush puppies! Yummy! 10 out 10! Extra bonus the waitress was excellent and her name was Kelly Ann!

My family and just moved up to the area from Western North Carolina and decided to try their food. I’ll start with my son’s meal, he ordered a burger and onion rings. He said the burger was ok and the onion rings were good. My wife ordered the lobster bisque and for an appetizer the fried shrimp with the sweet sauce. She said the shrimp was good and soup was also. I ordered the blackened shrimp platter with the two sides and for an appetizer I ordered the clam chowder. I’ll start with the clam chowder, it was bland with no seasoning, the only flavor was the clams. I had to add pepper to give some sort of flavor, but it didn’t do it, they need to figure out a good seasoning to put on it for flavor. The shrimp platter presentation was good. However, they only put on 8 shrimp, you would think

My friends had the crab tip, shrimp tacos and shrimp roll 🔥 I had this delicious lemon, blueberry, ricotta cake. Great food! The Painkiller cocktail surprised with orange blackberry notes. A definite yes, please let's do this again!
