Salty Dog Pizzeria

Great pizza in the heart of Mathews. They were slammed busy last night and were able to pull a pizza out in 20 minutes. Staff is always so nice. Love this place.

Salty Dog has amazing pizza! I really enjoyed the Bacon Cheesebuger pizza and the garden salad. My kids loved the cheese and pepperoni pizzas. The indoor seating is fairly small. They have quite a few picnic tables outdoors, which is where we sat. One important note - there is no public restroom. If you're dining in, make sure to stop at a restroom before going.

Just moved to town and decided to try salty dogs for dinner. My only regret is not trying this sooner. Prices are very very reasonable for what you get. Their calzones is easily one of the best I have ever had. I took our food to go however it was very clean in the restaurant and staff were very friendly!

Closes way too early in Mathews! Most pizza places stay open later than other places. I really like the pizza when I order it with less sauce and extra cheese!! I’ve only tried pepperoni so far.

Always afraid to try pizza far from the NJ/NY/Philly area. Opted for a seafood pizza. Wasn't sure what to expect but it was pretty good. Kinda like an alfredo sauce, not red. Or maybe it's just cheese. IDK. Girl at the counter was friendly. Prices were fair. Looked clean inside. Three tables set up for dining in. Would visit again.
