The Seafood Shack Hazlehurst

Food prepared (after you order), very tasty. not overly season). Good portions, worth the price. We had a golden fried shrimp plate with 2 sides (many shrimp/$16.99). Also, catfish/filet plate (3 nice size fried pieces, fried just right, with potato salad & fried okra), $16.99. Several side choices, awesome desserts. A great "take-out place, a fish & seafood market. Not suited for dine in, although there was 2 tables with chairs (cheap, did not appear to be sturdy). Great service, with also call in. If you are ever in the Small Town of Hazlehurst MS this is definitely a must stop location if you enjoy fresh seafood. They steam your seafood fresh and the sides are delicious also. You are able to sit and eat, but when I went the location didn't have public restroom facilities. The perfect grab and go location for fresh seafood. You don't have to take my word for it, you should go see for yourself 🌹 They also have fresh fried chicken and other sides, which are prepared and ready to eat. Ridesafe ❤️

Ate here 2 days in a row. One day I got fried catfish and the next fried chicken. Let me tell you, it’s a better fry recipe than I’m aware of anywhere around north Jackson. Not only was it phenomenal, but the 2 ladies that served me were genuinely excited to serve their cuisine. They were kind, and joyful. It was a breath of fresh air to be treated like that and I look forward to returning to hazlehurst for work. Thank yall!

This Seafood place is the bomb ! This place is worth the drive! Great food

I asked for the 4pc spicy with peppers. What i got was the blandest most slightly undercooked chicken I've ever had. Definitely won't get my money again
