The Scoop

We have been coming to Holden Beach for over 30 years and never visited The Scoop, not even once. How can this be? While we like ice cream it’s not something we normally go out for and I assumed it was just that.. an ice cream place. In fact, we were told it was basically an ice cream parlor years ago.. But WOW it is so much more and so so good. Their menu is nothing short of chocked full of so many good things we will need to go back a dozen times. Take a close look at the menu pics and you will see what I mean. We went twice during our 3 days trip and can’t wait to go back the next time we are at Holden.

First time customers that will definitely be back! We had the Big Heat Burrito, Pumpkin Spice Waffle with cinnamon sugar butter, and the Classic Bagel Sandwich with sausage, egg and cheese. The burrito was our favorite, but all three were delicious.

The Scoop is such a wonderful place! It has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere and so many delicious options. From breakfast, lunch, and dinner to all kinds of sweet treats, there’s something for everyone. I had the steak burrito and honestly, it was one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. The flavors were fresh and perfectly balanced. Definitely a spot I’ll be coming back to often!

We came here twice during our stay, once for ice cream and once for breakfast. The ice cream flavors were unique and delicious. The breakfast was out of this world- bagel sandwiches and we split a waffle. Unbelievably yummy and so much food for the price! We will definitely be back next time we’re at the beach. Super friendly staff as well :)

Found a few great items on my visit to this establishment, the first is that whenever I'm at holden beach I'll definitely make it a priority to get a breakfast burrito, very good! Also on my vacation I stopped to get ice-cream and actually found a new favorite flavor oreo mint
