The Portuguese Fisherman

Our family has frequented the Fisherman for 20-years, it'll always be a favorite spot. The Paelha Valenciana is to die for, the Sangria is great for sharing endless laughs, and the sizzling "Fisherman Style" New York Strip is a must. This year, we celebrated a Surprise birthday party in the Fisherman "Wineroom". The management and staff was supremely attentive and handled each detail with the utmost care. A plethora of delicious apps, deserts and favorite main courses / drinks. A beautiful venue well suited for both casual and formal events. Look forward to our next visit!

A little disappointed. I ordered stuffed shrimp with crabmeat, I got stuffed shrimp with cornmeal. The sangria, rice, Spanish potatoes and homemade potatoes were good. The garlic shrimp lacked fresh garlic and was in what tasted like a butter hot sauce mix. My friend ordered the pasta with seafood and was disappointed when it was served in the same butter hot sauce mix. The portions are large, the service was on point but a little disappointed with the main meals. I posted the stuffed shrimp below for reference

A week ago today I had a wonderful birthday dinner with family here and it was a special treat. The staff was patient and attentive, even presented me with a birthday card signed by all on duty that night. Even though a few minutes delayed by the holiday traffic, we were shown right to our table even with the place starting to fill up. The food was very tasty and plentiful enough to share. I ordered a plate of paella and literally got a pot. The sangria was fresh and smooth. A limoncello flute topped it all off and I can't say enough about about this place. On vacation, celebrating an occasion or simply driving through, a visit with these guys will be worth it Seriously, Do yourself a "flavour" and check them out.

If finances are not really a deciding factor where to dine, this establishment absolutely must be on your list. Most of my party dined on seafood, I myself enjoyed the steak 🥩. In short.... If there's food in Heaven above, this place does the catering. Hands down the most delicious steak I have ever eaten. Period.

Our experience was the definition of “hit or miss”. I had the skirt steak, prepared “fisherman style”, and it was spectacular. My wife and mother-in-law had two different dishes, each of which were a combination of cubed pork & seafood. First, both their plates came to the table ice-cold. Then, after obviously being microwaved, the pork in each dish was very tough. The seafood was adequate, and both dishes were flavored nicely. To the management’s credit, they greatly discounted our meals to compensate for the food’s quality. That being said, the atmosphere is bustling but not overwhelming, portions are large but prices are high, service is extremely pleasant. The bread and Sangria were delicious. I live in Utah so I’m not sure when I’ll return, but I’d give the restaurant another chance b
