Cafe Cirino

What a find as we passed through this town. Very friendly staff and such a clean establishment!!! The pastries looked SO delicious but had to pass on them this time. The food was good too. The mortdella could've been toasted more. I think they put it in the microwave so it wasn't crispy. Still delicious, though. The fries were cooked perfectly!!!!

After attending the 8:30 AM mass at St. Mary of Ostrabrama, we decided to visit Café Cirino in South River to find some desserts for Thanksgiving. The café offered an impressive variety of choices, so we ended up buying one of each. Every item was fresh and delicious, and the prices were very reasonable. The staff at Café Cirino were exceptionally nice and helpful. Most of them spoke Portuguese and Brazilian, but when they noticed we couldn’t speak their language, an English-speaking staff member promptly assisted us with our order. This thoughtful gesture made our experience even more pleasant. Overall, we had a very good experience at Café Cirino. The combination of great desserts, friendly service, and a welcoming atmosphere makes it a place we would definitely recommend.

Don’t order from them on doordash or uber eats unless you’d like your smoothie delivered to you in a plastic bag and all over your food. Extremely careless.

I ordered an X-Tudo Burger, and it was just unbelievable! It’s a huge sandwich and tastes amazing — definitely one of the best burgers in New Jersey. I ordered it through Uber Eats, and the packaging was excellent. Congratulations to the team for doing such a great job for our community!

Friendly service.. A good selection of Portuguese bakery items. The bakery items were fresh and soft. The boston cream donut like thing minus the chocolate glaze was very good.. the custard was not too sweet. However, they don't sell plain coffee! Only cappuccino and latte. Weird.
