The Patio at Chilly Jilly'z

We stopped on the way to Hoover Dam and were delighted by the great Mexican breakfast options at this outpost. Strong coffee, excellent and friendly service, giant plates served up of breakfast enchiladas and carnitas benedict with chipotle hollandaise atop the most gorgeous, golden jalapeño cornbread. I have to place emphasis on how amazing the cornbread was! I don't even want to know how much butter or oil is in it, but the moist, fluffy texture was incredible and the chunks of corn and jalapeño gave an added punch. The breakfast enchiladas come with delicious fried potato chunks and damn, they are tasty! Fried up with peppers and onions, they had a crispy outside and real flavor that made me steal my friend's food to have some. The price is great and serving portions could feed 1.5-2

So this is my 3rd time coming to this place. The other 2 times the food has been on point. So I brought some of my closest friends. Everyone had a good time except our friend Katt . He French Toast was made and looked amazing. But the cooked used eggs mixed with vegetables. The egg batter wasn’t clean. She lives her powered sugar trying to mask the flavor . 2 bites and she just couldn’t do it . She didn’t want to the food . Waitress was notified and her manager said we weren’t welcomed with that kind of complaint. She was forced to pay $20 for food she didn’t eat . We are locals not that should matter . We rode our motorcycles there and was treated like we didn’t belong by an older woman we guess was the manager. That was the absolute last time we will set foot in that establishment. What

We made reservations in advance, which was nice because there was a line when we showed up. The menu had a lot of tasty-looking options, hard to choose just one. The entrees we ended up with were all fabulous. Our waitress was so great, definitely 10/10 service. Only negative was that a regular mimosa was $10. I wouldn’t have ordered it had I seen the price first.

Don’t know why we waited so long to try this place, but it was fantastic! We had brunch there, and the food size were enormous. Atmosphere is so cool with literally an outdoor patio that has heat for the winter and nice and cool in the summer. Our service was wonderful, wonderful, and would definitely recommend this to anyone who wants brunch. They also serve lunch there as well and dinner on Saturday. If you’re not from Boulder city this place is definitely worth the drive.

The atmosphere was very cozy with the fire pit tables and the food was delicious. My 9 year old and I enjoyed the breakfast burrito and BLT, the ingredients tasted fresh, the portions were big and we can’t wait to come back. Great spot for brunch/lunch.
