Boulder City Library

Who wants to visit the oldest library in Southern Nevada? You do. It's quiet (obviously) but well laid out with plenty of room to wander through the aisles. Free wifi and incredibly helpful staff.

Honestly, at this point I'm not comfortable going to the library. Lately, the staff has not been very helpful (at least not to me). This hasn't always been the case. In the past, they were always nice to me, but something has changed. One bad apple? Hard to say. In any event, I hope they can work things out over there. I'd like to give them a higher rating, but right now I can't.

Best library in Clark County! The children section has a vast array of STEM toys, a puppet show station with puppets organized by storyline and a well organized Holiday section. I was impressed by the selection of educational parenting books located within the children section (genius) and the amount of Homeschool material. Staff was welcoming and kind, library was clean and tidy.

I had a shocking experience at our local library today and I feel compelled to share it with you all. 😮 As an avid lover of gardening and a regular library user, I was thrilled when I heard that our library started loaning out garden tools. 🌿🛠️ However, my excitement quickly turned into concern when I discovered that some of these tools were actually quite dangerous! 😱 To my disbelief, I borrowed a tool that was in dire need of repair and, unfortunately, it broke while I was using it. 😥 Now, I understand accidents happen, but what baffles me is that the library insists on making borrowers pay for the damages caused by faulty tools! 💸💔 Libraries have always been a place of knowledge, community, and support, but I believe it's their responsibility to ensure the safe

Very rude lady when trying to reserve a meeting room. Allowed our organization to reserve the room 2 months ago but refused to according to "library policy" today. Even went as far as chastising me because someone in the facility allowed our organization to reserve a training two months ago. Our organization gave a sizable donation to the library after we used the meeting rooms last time. Do not recommend this facility for any meeting room reservations unless you want the wrath of the library scheduler. Very, Very poor customer relations.
