Boulder City Supper Club

We went to this restaurant for the first time last night. It was not crowded but there was a very large group that was very noisy. We were seated away from them and had a pleasant experience with the staff. They were all very friendly and accommodating. My spouse had the Reuben sandwich with fries. Fries were crispy and fresh and I had the special which was blackened salmon Cajun rice which looked like Spanish rice to me and veggies that were crunchy to eat. Chef did offer to fix "anything wrong with the meal". The salmon had a Creole sauce. It was a slow burn type of "heat". Everything was fine. Please note that they charge 5% fee for using a credit card.

Our waiter Jim was a good host. All the food we had was good quality. Good variety on the menu. We had a steak Caesar salad, chicken wings, roasted duck, tortilla soup, and then fried cheesecake for dessert . Everything was delicious and good prices.

We had dinner here for the second time. This time with several out of town guests. Overall, better than our first visit, but not an outstanding evening. I guess I expected they might have dressed up the place a bit more. It still seems much the same as the prior three restaurants incarnations we we visited several times. The food was tasty (mostly) but not much on it's presentation. One guest did not think much of the fish they ordered. We did not have any desserts so I can't speak for them.

This is my second time to eat here. Just like the first time, the food is just delicious. On the first trip the pot roast was incredible. The mashed potatoes are the best, definitely homemade from scratch. Second time around, had the chicken fried chicken steak. The chicken was moist and you could cut it with a fork. The mashed potatoes again so delicious, and the biscuit light and airy. This time I also had dessert, fried cheesecake. Cheesecake is my favorite so I couldn't believe how it could be made any better. You get a really nice size piece and wow, it was incredible with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and caramel sauce on both. My goal is to be able to try everything on the menu. This is a definite asset to our town and is going to be a must stop for people from out of town

Busy place. After a small order mix up, our food came and was excellent. Our waiter Jim was very attentive. The owner, Scott, personally came by our table to chat and make sure things were as we expected. Will definitely be going back. The lobster gnocchi was very tasty and my wife's steak was cooked just right.
