The Over Bite

This place is awesome! Everyone is very friendly and the food is amazing. A very personable establishment. I got a BLT add turkey on their home made sour dough and my husband got the Gooseneck Grinder. Best sandwich Ive ever had. The sourdough is so good and soft! Plus you get chips and a pickle!!

Love it! They were able to make my sandwich on lettuce instead of bread. The employees were very sweet and accommodating! Great at answering any questions I had. Very quick service too! They have a quiet dining room with wifi that’s great to get some work done while grabbing lunch. I got the Red Rock Gobbler Sandwich as a lettuce wrap instead of bread.

Really good sandwich! I had the BLT and it was fresh and absolutely delicious. How can a BLT be that good? The sourdough bread was exceptional and the bacon was cooked perfectly and avocado was fresh. The aioli sauce was the cherry on top. Even the dirty Sr Pepper was done just right. These people know how to make good food. Thank you!

If you are passing through Monticello, and need some breakfast or lunch, this is the place! Excellent food, stupendous, service, and great atmosphere! Owners and staff were very friendly. They stopped and talked about sourdough, at which they are experienced experts, and they showed us around their place. They gave us some recommendations for our own sourdough operation in another state. Ingredients are fresh, menu’s original and they’re creative specials are totally worth it! Make sure to get a cinnamon roll!!

The Over Bite has amazing sandwiches and smoothies! I asked for my sandwich to be lettuce wrapped, and it was one of the best I’ve ever gotten! The amount of lettuce was great, enough for me to actually be able to hold it like a sandwich and have nothing fall out, and not too much so it didn’t overpower the taste of the sandwich. 11/10 recommend! My husband is a huge fan of their homemade sourdough bread as well. Overall a great sandwich shop!
