Great family run fast food shack that delivers fantastic burgers, cheesesteaks, fries, tots and other fast food favorites. It is located right next to the Atomic Blue Motel, and is a very convenient place for its guests to get a hearty meal at a reasonable price without having to drive from the motel. There are outdoor tables available for eating when the weather is nice. But the primary business appears to be takeaway orders. This can be a small problem if you visit them in person and happen to place your order just after they have received a call in order. There is only space for one cook to make the burgers and cheesesteaks and you may have to wait a while for the call in order to be completed before they can get to making your order. A unique side of the road spot. It was very busy on a Fri night but worth the wait. The prime cheesesteak with made-from-scratch horsey sauce was the best Philly-type sandwich I've ever had! Husband raved about the BLT. Everything made fresh, seasoned perfectly, generous portions. This is REAL food!

An affordable and pleasant place to eat especially when on a road trip. $20 for two people to eat and the portions were great. The BLT was a perfectly executed classic and the pulled pork was well seasoned. They told us what was on each dish and let us make some adjustments for an allergy. I especially loved sitting under the tree at the comfy chairs and tables it was a peaceful lunch after a long time in a car. I will definitely be planning my future trips to land me in Monticello to eat at Prime Eats.

Great little grill/diner with great food! The burgers were great as were the fries and loaded nachos. Highly recommend the spicy queso (on the nachos)! Unfortunately the brisket and pork weren’t yet ready for the day- but maybe a reason to return? Definitely recommend a stop if you’re around Monticello!

We stopped in looking for a quick snack, and this place did not disappoint. Look at these tenders! Best I’ve had in a while. A true must-stop in Monticello—friendly service, hot and delicious food, and impressively fast. Everything was fresh, well-seasoned, and cooked to perfection. Can’t wait to come back!
