The Old Cedarhome Market

This is basically a convenience store that happens to have FANTASTIC hard ice cream. (Not too far off the i-5 freeway in Stanwood, WA) We were craving ice cream, and found this to be the perfect quick stop. Coffee and other typical convenience items are available. Small parking lot, so park your big rigs on the street to avoid blocking the entrance/exit. Just a handful of flavor options, but all are usual favorites so there's bound to be something to satisfy your craving. Staff is friendly and efficient. We were in and out in minutes, back on the road in no time. This photo of Huckleberry Cheesecake on a Waffle cone doesn't do it justice. This was what was left even AFTER I got my fill!

Since my review the market has put markers in where the rocks are helping a lot, thank you Cedar home Market Drive Through👍 The market is great and the staff is amazing but I will never go through the drive thru again. As I turned slowly around the drive through I could not see the rocks lining the way to the window. Have drove it many times but today, I had a brand new 2024 CRV and I hit a rock, I could not see it. Just felt this might happen sometime and it did. The owners really need to think about those rocks, they are low snd hard to see when turning. I was devastated.

Was just denied service being told that there is a minimum purchase amount for cards. So I looked it up. It is illegal to have a minimum purchase for debit card transactions. Period. Credit card is different, as long as the minimum requirement is less than $10 and enforced for ALL credit card merchants, yes that IS legal. But, again, it is AGAINST THE LAW to set a minimum purchase for debit cards. It is also illegal to charge a debit card fee, also known as a "surcharge," in the United States due to the Durbin Amendment of the Dodd-Frank Wall Street Reform and Consumer Protection Act, which prohibits merchants from adding extra charges for debit card transactions. I just wanted a soda. But apparently they have strict . parking rules. I guess I can't pull into parking lot with trailer even thought only one other car parked lot. All other spaces empty side parked on was totally empty. I left room for other park behind me close to store. Told me to park on outside of lot. Guess business so good you can afford to lose business Have great day

The coffee is wonderful and the service is incredible, but i stopped going a while back when my favorite barista was fired because the owner was "having a bad day". That barista was always a joy to be around, and knew exactly how to make my drink! (My drink is complicated and few people know how to make it properly) Also, don't get me wrong, the other baristas are very nice too, they're just not my barista. :)
