While wandering around Stanwood after visiting some local yard sales, I stumbled upon Sasquatch Subs, and I’m glad I did because I was hungry. I was pleasantly surprised by the professionalism of the owners. I noticed one of the owners helping a little girl; she made sure the girl had a Ziploc bag for her money and other loose belongings since she was on a bicycle. I thought that was sweet of her. There were about ten people in the small space, but they managed to get the orders out in about 15 minutes, which wasn’t a long wait. After most of the customers left, it was just my partner and me, and the owners were nice enough to chat with us. They demonstrated excellent customer service skills, were very polite, and even apologized for the wait, even though we hadn’t waited long at all. I

This is the second time I've gone with my husband. The second time, what we chose wasn't really toasted. I really would have liked them to be more toasted. (If they start toasting all the sandwiches, I really think it would be a 10/10 for me, by far the best sandwiches I've had in the whole area. The flavor is already delicious, but toasting them and making them crispy would give them an incredible boost. Damn, I'll definitely go back. And if they don't add something to make them crispy, I'll have to go home and put them in the toaster oven.) ❣️❣️❣️

Being a Philly gal. I had a serious hankering for a hoagie and a cheese steak. So being the foodie I am. I googled Hoagie near me. I'm going to have to tell my East coast familia to go to this local lovely deli for a taste of home. Great menu. And next time I will be getting those fried green tomatoes. So excited. Humble chef with good vibes all the way around. I forgot my peppers. Without was still amazing. Also. They have those pickles in a jar. If you're not from the east coast. You wouldn't get it. Enjoy. Worth the trip. 💕 💎

My daughter lives in the area and had recently picked up sandwiches there for her & the girl’s after Cheer Leading practice. So today, after attending my granddaughter’s Piano Recital. & running errands we ordered take out; One Hot Italian and one Banh MI. The latter was my favorite as it was the best I’ve had in the area—-most from Vietnamese Restaurants are dry with hardly any condiments but this was AMAZING! The Pork Belly was tender, juicy, and well marinated. The pickled Carrots & Daikon were tasty and had the right amount of crunchiness. The cherry on top was you could taste Cilantro in the background—-most places put either too much on or not enough. Like Goldie and The 3 Bears, “it was just right!” A Stanwood hidden treasure. A must visit again next time I’m in town.

If you’re anywhere near Stanwood and craving a serious sandwich, Sasquatch Subs is the spot. I'm typically an Italian sub guy, but when I went in the other day and asked Brad what he'd recommend, he said his favorite is the Hot Pastrami with spicy pickles. That hit the spot. I was heaven. The pastrami is stacked high, tender, and perfectly seasoned, with just the right amount of smoky richness. The spicy pickles add a nice kick that cuts through the savory meat, giving every bite a pleasant heat that keeps you coming back for more. Great ratio of bread to filling. Try it!
