Merry Little Baker (Karen’s Place)

Over the last 4 years, I have ordered two First-Birthday cakes for my kiddos, numerous cupcakes for other birthdays, and for the last 3 years I've ordered Girl Scout cupcakes for a GS Camp retreat that my girls look forward to every year. I would order Jenns frosting by the tub and eat it with a spoon if I could. It's honestly a good thing I live 80 miles south of her or I would be stopping in for cupcakes and macarons on a weekly basis.

This business is absolutely phenomenal! They are always so welcoming when you come in, and their products are top notch. I have never been a fan of buttercream frosting but I am absolutely obsessed with the buttercream frosting at this Bakery. Also they have the most amazingly delicious macaroons and in such a crazy variety of flavors. Just recently had cookies done for my son's birthday and absolutely love the way they turned out. I had a hard time not eating the whole two dozen to myself they were that good.

Merry Little Baker is such a gem. Their gluten-free options are actually delicious — not the “it’s good for gluten-free” kind, but genuinely crave-worthy. And now they have fancy milkshakes that are next-level indulgent. The owner is incredibly friendly and welcoming, which makes the whole experience even sweeter. It’s the perfect spot when you want something special. Definitely worth stopping in.

We have gone to Merry Little Baker for several years for many of our cake needs. Not only are the cakes beautiful, but they are tasty and Jenn is exceptionally kind. She also makes sure you know how to care for your cake until it's time to eat it. To top it off, her store, Karen's Place, is beautifully done and the little samples I tried of cotton candy and of macaroon was delicious! And I've never been a fan of macaroons. I always found them to be too dry but not Jenn's. It was well worth the trip to get a cake done by her. Highly recommend and will use her again as my finances allow.

I can’t say enough good things about Merry Little Baker. The cupcakes are absolutely delicious—moist, flavorful, and topped with the most heavenly frosting. You can tell each one is made with care and creativity. They also make macarons that are out of this world—crisp on the outside, chewy in the middle, and full of flavor. Not only does everything taste amazing, but the presentation is beautiful too, perfect for special occasions or just treating yourself. The owner is so friendly and welcoming, which makes every visit feel personal. I love supporting a local business that puts so much heart into what they do.
