The Neighborhood Cafe

I hopped in here for a Saturday morning breakfast and it wasn’t too bad. I got the chicken fried steak and eggs and it came with a homemade biscuit that was quite good. The rest of the breakfast was good but not great. The cafe is a nice clan establishment with a very friendly staff. I want to go back for lunch and maybe a dessert cause the desserts look fabulous!! Service was fast and friendly but they did not ask if I wanted a refill for my drink until they brought my check. All in all not bad. I’ll go back again.

Wow! Delicious such good service and food! Coffee was smooth I liked it. The Benedict plate was so tasty and fresh salsa for the ham quesadilla. Both were great. The hash browns had a funny flavor perhaps the oil? Regardless it’s decor and people and staff were all over welcoming. I’ll be back soon!

Staff was nice and greeted us with a smile. The restaurant was clean and in great shape. Our coffee was always full and our food showed up fast but, unfortunately, that's where the praise ends. Every plate had a problem with it, one meal came with slimy cottage potatoes when we asked for crispy hash brown, we paid extra for a side of "fresh fruit" and we received partially thawed frozen fruit that looked like it had already began to go bad, the coffee tasted like burnt Folgers, all the potatos were undercooked and tasted raw, the country fried steak tasted 'off'. I had high hopes for a small mom and pop 'neighborhood cafe' but honestly Denny's would have been better. Maybe they were having an off day or a different cook but my first time experience wasn't great.
