Rohnert Park - Cotati Regional Library

People who don't have money need to give gifts too this year. Please let the discard rack be free, or at least negotiable. Was there way before closing, and I have no money. You do, Friends. I turned about because the person I spoke to had no idea that it's Christmas. I'm guessing she was there for the money not the real Friends. It's okay. Merry Christmas anyway 🎄❄️

I'm not particularly a fan of Rohnert Park, but oddly this is one of my favorite libraries in Sonoma County. The book selection is great, the librarians nice, the atmosphere is clean and open. Wonderful library.

This library has been here since 2003. The city must be really proud of it. It has a very impressive selection of things to choose from. Very comfortable environment and friendly staff. I took advantage of their used book store. The toddler's reading area has a sky-lit dome with a mural. Outside, there is a monument to the burnt Library of Alexandria in Egypt.

Wonderful library with great resources - Free internet with speed at 67 Mbps, just tested 🙂 - Community magazines, announcements... - Books, videos, movies, newspapers... - Rich online services via apps - Bathroom - Warm fireplace in winter 🔥 It's a super quiet places even though right on the main road and across the street from the newish smart train too. Enjoy!

Like all other libraries in the county you will be greeted by symbols of indentity politics upon arrival in several places inside the entrance. I don't understand how public places paid with our tax dollars became a place where public display of favored groups are highlighted. They have thier favorite causes and if anybody feels excluded or alienated by this, I guess that is their problem. Also wish they had more children's books in the official language of the country. My kid has a hard time finding new books she can read here now, as they definitely make sure one language is over represented here. Wish the the place was more inclusive.
