The Metropole Saloon and Restaurant

Traveling through the area and needed a good steak, this caught my eye, and did not disappoint. Very good service and enjoyable atmosphere, even had an old black and white western on a tv in the background. Absolutely loved the eclectic blend of chairs around every table, and good old fashion saloon feel throughout the building. The Filet and “smashed” potatoes were perfectly spot on, as was expected in a place that just felt good to visit. If I am through there again, or even close, I will stop in. Thanks for the great experience.

In a panhandle Texas town of 1800 people who would have thought you could find such a gem of restaurant. Amazing atmosphere great drinks and food. Nice people & great service.

What an amazing find along our travels! The filet, mac' n’ cheese, and grilled Brussels sprouts were one of my favorite meals ever. The steak is delicious, and their version of Mac' n cheese is a must. The decor was inviting, and Karry's service was attentive and friendly. A must-stop for dinner. Highly recommend.

This place is spot on thee very best. Cool vibe, great food with perfect service. It was an unexpected score when we came off the interstate in search of good grub. Interior was well designed 👏

The food was so good, the staff very friendly, the owners were lovely but the drinks!!...amazing. Bartender did her thing! I got a rare filet cooked too perfection. It was so good we came back the next day. Highly recommend.
