The Lobster Shack Key West

We stopped by Lobster Shack Key West and tried the classic lobster roll. While it didn’t quite beat DJ’s Clam Shack for me, it was definitely close and still very good. The lobster was fresh and well-prepared, and my girlfriend really liked how nicely toasted the bread was—it added great texture to the roll. The wait was minimal, which was a nice surprise, and they even threw in a few pieces of chips, which was a thoughtful touch. Simple, casual, and satisfying overall. A solid spot for a lobster roll if you’re in Key West.

A cute little restaurant close to the Southernmost Buoy. Just a few tables and bar stools. They have a limited menu. The service was very quick. The 4 star rating for the food was just because there were a few hard pieces in my lobster roll (cartilage or shell). They have a few beverages. The lobster roll came with some chips and a pickle. They do accept payment by credit card

Not going to lie, this was the best Lobster roll I've had in my entire life. Very fresh, very meaty, no mayo. Incredibly moist, succulent and flavorful. Will absolutely come back here and highly recommend their Key Lime Lobster Roll or Lobster grilled cheese!

OMG, the best lobster rolls in the south! Sooo good and tasty. I had the lobster grilled cheese with jalapeños and bacon. Sweet perfection! Wifey had the traditional roll and it was perfect as well.

Found this tiny little hidden gem. Excellent lobster roll on fresh made warm bun! When I go back, it was so good definitely will not split my order, I'll get my own! Very friendly owner and staff. Have cash or credit card, no Apple Pay or wallet type payments accepted.
