My husband and I stayed at the Lindenwood in for one night on September 25th in Room #6. We loved the Inn and our room. The room was clean and quiet. The Inn was beautiful, and the room had so much character. The service was amazing. The staff were friendly and accommodating. We enjoyed the breakfast we are still talking about the Salsa Verde. While it was too cold to enjoy the pool and the rain did not allow us to get in the jacuzzi, but it was still nice that the options were there. We loved that there was an honor bar located downstairs. Overall, the location was nice and quiet, and we would stay here again in the future and would recommend it our friends and family.
We came here for a 3-day “mini-moon” after our wedding, and we can’t speak highly enough about our experience at the Lindenwood Inn! The room — stylish, bed was extremely comfy, top-notch AC unit, and we even got a little water view from our balcony which we weren’t expecting! The bathroom was newly finished and the rain shower head was lovely. The patio, pool & hot tub — absolutely stunning! There were several little nooks to relax in, fresh towels always available, and the quiet ambiance was so relaxing. We made sure to leave ourselves an hour or two each day to unwind here. We also enjoyed sitting on the front porch for a late-night drink after dinner. The breakfast — a perfect way to start the day. The food options were extensive, and we loved having a choice of sitting inside or ou
This was my third stay at the Lindenwood Inn and I love it more each time. The inn has such a relaxing yet luxurious feel, with an incredible pool and hot tub. It’s tucked away in a quiet neighborhood in Southwest Harbor, close to downtown but away from the crowds in Acadia and Bar Harbor, so it truly feels like an oasis. I stayed in Room 3, one of my favorites, but every room in the main house has its own unique charm with beautiful bathrooms and many with porches or balconies. I especially love all of the outdoor spaces for sitting and unwinding. The front porch sectional is the perfect spot to relax. Jim, the owner, is wonderfully kind and the staff are always warm and helpful. Lindenwood Inn is an absolute gem and I can’t wait to return again.
My husband and I stayed at the Lindenwood for a weekend late July. We were so impressed with the buildings, the grounds, the views, and all of the thoughtful details. Staff was very friendly and informative. We loved the pool and the hot tub and found ourselves skipping hikes to be there instead. The breakfast was delicious. It included yogurt, fruit, muffins, coffee, tea and a main dish that's brought to you at your table. Even though the house isn't huge, they have plenty of 2 tops and 4 tops so you can chose to sit inside or outside. We loved the honor bar, but didn't end up using it beyond filling up our water bottles with the ice and water provided. There is also coffee and tea available for most of the day. We stayed in Room 13 which is in the Annex. It has a great view of the wat
My daughter & I took a Mother-Daughter trip and stayed at the Lindenwood for three nights. The location is perfect- you can walk to any of the local restaurants and it's a super easy 30 minute drive to the park or you can take the convenient busses right from SW Harbor. Our room was really fabulous, we were in the "house next door" and had a huge suite with a full kitchen (which was never touched! :) ) and a lovely King bed that was very comfy! Large shower with excellent water pressure and nice amenities. The best part is the hot tub and heated pool- we popped a bottle of bubbles every night and relaxed after hiking the park and it was lovely! The host is very charming and helpful, the breakfasts are yummy- I couldn't ask for anything more! I would definitely stay here again!
