Harbour Cottage Inn

Words do not even begin to do justice to this absolutely incredible bed-and-breakfast. I stayed here for two nights on a recent solo trip to visit Acadia National Park and I wish I could’ve stayed here for a month! Everything about Harbour Cottage Inn from start to finish was perfect. The check-in was seamless and I was greeted warmly while being shown around the property. My room was clean and spacious with a large comfortable bed and soft linens. The bathroom had all the necessary toiletries and the shower had ample water pressure. I appreciated all of the little touches from the afternoon sweet treats in the common area to the thoughtful breakfast dishes. I appreciated the endless supply of coffee and the fresh lemon water. Beautiful B&B in SW Harbor...walking distance to downtown restaurants and shops, and 5 minute walk to Beal's Lobster. Loved the deck overlooking the yard...great place to rread a book during the day, and a wonderful setting for happy hour or a light dinner. Bar is open 4-8 pm but they also have an honor bar for after hours. Beautifully maintained inn and grounds. Breakfast changed daily...we were there 2 nights...one "savory" breakfast, one "sweet" breakfast. Dora was absolutely amazing and Matt makes the very best cosmo. We stayed on the third floor Harborside Suite....very comfortable bed!! We will be back next year!

My husband and I had the most amazing experience at the Harbour Cottage Inn. We found the Inn to be so cozy and warm with the most amazing chef, Dan, preparing a gourmet breakfast each morning. Dora ,our Innkeeper, was so warm and she thought of every little detail making our experience one we will always remember. Dora and Dan made our stay wonderful. We will be going back!

We had a fantastic stay at the Harbour Cottage Inn, a historic house that had a warm and inviting atmosphere created by Dora, Daniel and Matt. The Inn had a great indoo /outdoor porch and deck/ gathering space. Daniel is a fantastic chef that prepared yummy breakfasts and tasty small plates. We had a wonderful stay ..we would highly recommend it.

We love Harbour Cottage Inn and are repeat guests. We feel so welcome, and we love Dora, Daniel, Susan, Matt, Dennis and the whole team. Everyone is so gracious and friendly; food is outstanding; the inn is exceptionally clean and we love the “home away from home” atmosphere. We plan to return again next year!! Highly recommend!
