The International Delight Cafe

This restaurant is better than a diner. The gelato is delicious. The service was very good. The staff is friendly and the food was good. It's a nice place to bring the family. Make sure to bring cash because they don't take debit nor credit cards.

This is our second time here. We knew coming back that we wanted the Belgian waffle gelato sundaes. They have an amazing variety of toppings , sauces and gelato flavors. The Belgian waffle sundaes are $17.99 each and are literally more than a meal all by themselves. The waffles were warm and lightly crisp on the outside and fresh and soft on the inside. My boyfriend got the Banana supreme. It looks messy but he wanted fudge sauce, marshmallow sauce and peanut butter sauce. It looked like a melted mess but it wasn't. Fresh slices of banana , whipped cream and a cherry. Strawberry , banana and chocolate gelato flavors and he was a happy camper. For myself I chose to Build my own and that was simply called International Delight. Belgian waffle base with cherry vanilla, chocolate raspberry

Came here for Mother’s Day and the food was delicious. The service was way too slow though. They were packed but really understaffed. A nice server came and introduced herself and I sat with coffee for a good 45 mins until someone brought our food over. Several other tables were waiting for the same time as well, maybe more. The server however was very nice. Everything is cooked fresh here and I enjoyed tasting everything because I was full by the time I took the first few bites. I recommend hiring more staff especially on busy holidays.

Used to visit the other location on Sunrise Highway for many years with my parents and on many dates and nothing beat the food as well as the gelato but we thoroughly enjoyed the owner who was a sweet Italian man that we enjoyed speaking with but this turned out to be exceptionally well experience for us never knowing this place existed will definitely be back

We came as a family unexpectedly on a rainy Memorial Day. The food was absolutely delicious we ordered the: Irish Eggs Benedict, fried chicken sandwich, and pulled pork sandwich. We had never had their gelato but it was out of this world (highly recommend the sunset flavor 😋)
