TACO EL CHINGÓN (Bellmore)

Loved this place! I was looking for good tacos in the area. And somehow I keep finding the best 100 restaurants on LI. This place was so good. We ordered chips and salsa, guac and I ordered chicken tacos. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. There was plenty of seating and the staff was friendly and nice. I'll definitely stop back here again.

The most authentic and delicious Mexican food on the island, hands down! And with the kindest staff. Love their chorizo tacos and chipotle dip! Literally crave their food all the time.

We stopped in after checking Google for the highest rated local Mexican restaurant. There were no tables available but just 3 outside under the tent. The workers added a couple of extra tables for us under the tent . We ordered assorted tacos etc. And everything was great. The food presentation was nice and tasted great. A little side container of guac and salsa and fresh chips came with the order. The portion sizes were good as well. The 5 of us in our party all agreed that this restaurant was a good pick and is a keeper.

Came here a bit late on a Monday night for dinner. My friends had been telling me how good this place is for quite awhile, so when the taco cravings kicked in Taco El Chingon answered the call. The place might be a little on the small side but don't let that fool you, this place is packed with plenty of flavor. The interior is trendy and clean, a couple of places to sit if you feel inclined to stay awhile, but you can take out just as easily too. I wish I could give more than 5 stars for service, the woman behind the counter was sweet as could be and had no problem serving us even though we came in so late. Food also came out quick.
