The Inn at Spring Run Farm

Inn at Spring Run Farm deserves 6 Stars! We so enjoyed our hospitable stay - great to meet Jeff and Susan and so many charming horses! The opportunity to stay in a restored 1700’s horse farm home, along with a gourmet breakfast, makes it a Kentucky don’t miss!

We had a trip to Wisconsin from Atlanta and we're driving so decided to stop halfway which was Louisville. Instead of just picking a hotel, I looked for something interesting. I found the Inn at Spring Farm Run.||It was exactly what we hoped for and more. A real working horse farm with as much access as you want. The inn was a restored log cabin but updated to a wonderful standard. Jeff the owner was gracious and took time to tell us the farm history. We were there only overnight but loved this place. In the morning Jeff, a former chef, made an amazing breakfast! We wandered the eclectic barns again in the morning before leaving. After a week in Madison, WI. we headed home but checked with the Inn and they had a room do did the same on the way back. This is truly a wonderful retreat, com

Great stay! Traveling from Sweden, we arrived at 9 pm and both Jeff and Susan welcomed us warmly with a short walk-through of our room, kitchen and other facilities. Before going, we considered staying a few nights downtown, but boy are we glad we stayed all six nights at this B&B with its long history. Fantastic! Anyone who appreciates beautiful countryside, a "come home" feeling, and lovable easy-going hosts - this is the place! If you're also a horse lover, you have 68 additional four-legged reasons to stay here. Needless to say, but you'd need a car to enjoy this stay. Thank you, Jeff & Susan, for hosting us. My girlfriends and I loved our stay! Host: Jeff was our primary host. He was welcoming and made us feel comfortable right away. Susan visited in the evening and shared about the history of the Inn. Both were so kind! Rooms: The rooms are spacious and the beds very comfortable! The bathrooms are modern and clean. We stayed upstairs and the rooms each offered plenty of privacy. Food & beverages: Perfect! We love that there was a coffee machine on the second floor, but that coffee and breakfast were ready when we woke up. The table was beautiful, and the food was delicious! An obvious bonus was waking up, looking outside the window and seeing the horses! Overall, the Inn was a great stay and we look forward to going again. July ‘25 The history, hospitality and location of this INN is just wonderful. We were in the area for a family event and just happened upon the INN for its location. We Midwestern city slickers & East Coast young grandboys were delighted by the beautiful, comfortable inn that honors its history &’architecture dating to the 18th C. Board games at night and gracious horse owners tour after a BIG Southern breakfast was delightful for our 3 generations of visitors. Chef Jeff made sure everything was just as we needed and more than we expected. Memorable and recommended!
