Dos Aztecas

We were on our way home and took a different route and stopped at Dos Aztecas Restaurant. The food was delicious starting from the salsa. There were two different kinds one a little more spicy than the other and they both were delicious chips were Light and crispy. I ordered the fajita quesadilla with beef and it was huge! It was very delicious full of meat. I only ate half and took the other half home. My husband had the nachos fajita and his was also very delicious. He also could not eat all of the portion they gave him. Our server was very prompt, kind and attentive. We were delighted to find such a nice restaurant new to us. Oh yes, and don’t forget the Corn Elote! It’s a delicious appetizer that will surprise you Hope to come back again soon!

The restaurant is now named Vallarta Mexican Bar and Grill. My buddy and I both ordered Chilaquiles from the lunch menu. This was an interesting take on the dish as I've never had carne asada served with it elsewhere. Everything tasted good, but the carne asada was overcooked and hard to cut and eat.

Great service. Salsa was awesome. Carnita Burrito was good. Could have used a bit more cheese sauce. I'd give the Chicken Fajitas a 3 1/2 out of 5. It lacked flavor, and it needed a little caramelization on the veggies. The Malibu drink was 4 out of 5.

We ordered chimichangas; beef and seafood. Both were delicious. Their chips and salsa were great too and very fresh. Subbed black beans for the refried beans. Very well seasoned.

Went to lunch with a friend of mine and I got the Tacos Fajitas. It's 3 tacos stuffed full of steak, peppers, and onions. Came with rice, beans, and Pico with sour cream. For the amount of steak it was fairly priced at 15 bucks. Of course, you get free chips too. Anyway, tacos were fantastic and the service was great. Our server was very attentive. Will definitely go back again.
