The Hot Buffalo

Excellent service, sat outside and they turned the heater and TVs on for us without having to ask. The food was excellent the fried avocado and the fries seasoned with old bay/cajun were incredible. The wings came out hot big and juicy and fried to perfection, probably some of the best I’ve had. Would highly recommend.

What a pleasant surprise! I just moved to the area, and where I am from we have chicken wing joints everywhere. Here in North Carolina not so much. So when visiting Holden beach we were thrilled to find a wing place! We got the mozz sticks, pretty good, 8/10. Seasoned fries 9/10. Spicy garlic wings 8/10 and plain wings for the kids 7/10. Service was good. I thought it was odd we didn’t get served any bone bowls or xtra plates but overall solid. I’ll definitely comeback for a brew and wings during football season! Whole experience probably 4.5 out of 5! Easily could be a 5 next time!

Our first time in Holden Beach. Just the two of us. I was craving some wings. Just off Island was The Hot Buffalo. We went early and were seated immediately. Thank goodness they had extra crispy (my wife only likes them that way). 15 medium 15 garlic parm. Came out hot, just the way we like them. Service was great. If we love in Holden Beach we'd be there often. Also if you are a Bills fan, it's a spot for you. Lots of sports stuff and big tvs to watch whatever is on. Definitely recommend it.

Home away from home!! ❤️🤍💙🥰. Came to Holden beach from, Buffalo, NY to visit family. We were told the owner was from Buffalo, so we had to go, and check them out!! They didn't disappoint at all!!! Better than Duffs!! So good!! We felt like we were back home!! Thank you for representing BUFFALO in North Carolina!! GO BILLS!!! ❤️🤍💙

The wings were awesome. Crispy and tasty, we loved them. Also had 3 appetizers that were very good too. Servers were friendly. Only one problem, it is very small and can be loud inside, but we enjoyed the food so much, will definitely go back for more.
