The Homestead

The Homestead is so cozy and in such a beautiful location. The patio was cute and a relaxing place to hang out in the sun. The back yard is a cool place to hang out and is kind of a communal vibe. The best part, though, was the room. It didn’t feel like we were at a hotel, more like a comfy guest bedroom at a friend’s house. The bed was amazing, and we obviously just loved this place. 10/10

The Homestead is simply fantastic. Super cozy and well appointed rooms, with plush beds, state of the art coffee and ice makers, and elegant bathrooms. Sit out on one of the chairs by the back door and watch the sun set over the prominent high desert buttes and mesas that are just a stone's toss away. Wake up as the sun rises over placid orchards. Walk to the Clark and CO's distillery about half a mile away, eat a delicious dinner with an Old Fashioned on their patio fronting the Colorado River, and pick up a bottle of their Peach Moonshine to sip on. The Homestead is a perfect place for a serene retreat free of hustle and bustle, and is close to the inviting town of Palisade with its many cafes, restaurants, wineries, and distilleries. The first thing I notice is access, and this place had it perfect. Parking was right in front of my door, which might sound small, but when you’re unloading bags alone, that convenience is everything. There are only about six units, so the property stays quiet, private, and easy to navigate. Inside, the space felt simple-modern and intentionally minimal , just the kind of functional comfort I always look for. The king-size bed took up most of the room, which I actually loved because it was unbelievably comfortable, and the small kitchen had exactly what I needed: a coffee maker, tea, a small ice maker, a mini fridge, and enough counter space to sit, eat, or work without feeling cramped. The back door opens up to a huge outdoor space with those beautiful Colorado rock formations in the land

We booked the Homestead while a few hours drive away. What a surprise gem. Easy check in, stylish and spotless room, with delightfully cozy beds. Wish we had more time to utilize little kitchen with coffee machine and backyard chairs and fire pit. The views are lovely to wake up to! Charm galore!

What a little gem this place is. We came up from the front range for a wine and farm weekend with the kids and a couple other families. The Homestead was a perfect home base for the weekend. The location is convenient to access lots of the local attractions and right up the road from the Palisade Rim trail for a great morning hike almost out your door. The property has everything you need, wonderful outdoor space with great views, a firepit and gazebo, backyard for kids and pets with nice little patios off each room. The rooms are thoughtful, clean and comfortable. The beds are amazing and all the pillows, linens and comforters are super high quality--we had amazing sleep. The rooms also have a great little coffee setup, plates and utensils and little fridge to keep any of the great finds
