Been coming to the harp for well over 10yr now. I really hate leaving bad reviews but although the inside and outside both look incredible these days the food w a nt as good as it used to be. I will go back at some point. Maybe theyre having an off day or someone forgot to order fryer oil. But for about 20.00 a person for the most basic Irish food menu items. It should have tasted better. Presentation was good though. The server seemed very new. A little more experience and a can do attitude and she'll probably be good one day. Sorry again. Hope to see positive changes. Maybe I came on an off day or the fryer oil get changed on Tuesdays
What a really neat place to go. Just a little original looking Irish pub. This was our first time there. I had the corned beef and my husband had the fish and chips. The corned beef was absolutely delicious!!! How do they make it so good?? My husband said his fish and chips were very good. The atmosphere was awesome! Copper looking ceilings and just a small homey feeling pub, we loved it and we will be back, especially for that delicious corned beef!!!
This place is under new ownership. The new outside paint job, wow, it's pretty bold! It reminds me of a Chinese restaurant with the bright red and yellow colors. The building certainly needed a paint job. Four of us had reservations and our table was ready when we arrived. We've eaten here several times in the past and were looking forward to a good dinner. The place was pretty full. We ordered drinks to start. Mine was missing for 7-8 minutes after the rest got theirs. Our waitress was apologetic. I ordered the Shepherd's pie, which was always my favorite there, and a side salad with blue cheese on the side. My husband ordered the fish and chips. One friend ordered the Irish fried chicken sandwich and a side salad, also with blue cheese dressing. Our other friend wanted a Caesar sala
The most authentic Irish pub I’ve ever been to (and I’m half Irish, like everyone else). Hannah, our waitress was amazing, kind, and super helpful. The food was actually made in house. The atmosphere was perfectly Irish and we all felt like we were lost somewhere between Dublin and the green hills. And we came just at the right time on a Saturday when a group of Irish style musicians with great skill were gathering to play. Apparently the musicians jam together on Saturdays between. Unbelievable! We definitely want to come back! One of the best kept secrets in Wilmington.
The bookmaker sandwich is absolutely the best. The fried onions on top take it out of the ordinary and into fantastic. My server, Savanna was attentive without being obtrusive. I'll definitely be coming back.
