The Happy Tomato Courtyard Café & BBQ

Walked upon this place and so happy we ate here!! I knew we came upon a phenomenal place as we were waiting to order and the phone was ringing every other minute for to go orders!! They were so kind and good people. The food is incredible!! One of us got the half chicken platter with mustard and spicy sauce, the other got pulled pork sandwich with sweet sauce…all AMAZING! Potato salad was best I’ve ever had; Cole slaw was divine! And the place is so cute. The courtyard is darling and the inside does the job to make the amazing food!

The food was very good, great lunchtime fare. The pulled pork was a little dry, but the mustard BBQ sauce was very good. Wife loved the chicken salad and pimento, and said the potato salad tasted very fresh and homemade. We also tried the choc chip and walnut cookie and we're not disappointed.

Generous nesting portions! Great tasting sandwiches and cute relaxing garden to sit in hidden away from the road.

This place was an absolute gem! It was my boyfriend and I’s first time here and we will most definitely be back!! I’m not a huge sandwich person but I could personally eat one of these bad boys everyday that’s just how good and fresh it was. The atmosphere and the staff were also amazing. Definitely a must go to give it a shot!

We had a nice lunch at the Happy Tomato. The service was just as good as the food. We tried the blt, pulled pork, and a smoked chicken sandwich. All of the sandwiches were generously portioned. The courtyard is small, but I enjoyed the quiet. The majority of the seating is outside. I would encourage you to give them a try if you're in the area.
