The Halal Guys

I like this place because they gave me a lot of meat when i ordered the platter! Plus it tasted great and it is a decent amount of food you get for the price. It's not the same as if you are getting it from the Halal food carts in NYC but it will do in a pinch when in Jersey and craving it.

I feel sad because I brought someone over to show them the long awaited, iconic halal guys. Falafel was dry and overcooked, since all the pieces seemed fully cooked and then over fried when heated. I guess I was missing the pickled pieces since the only toppings you get now are onions and peppers. Portions were mostly plans and my beef was also dry. The drink machine that spits out iced tea has a plastic flavor (yes, drink machine juice, but I’ve had better) and the dessert was soggy and cloying. Service was perfectly fine though, inasmuch as fast casual has service. Tables are sticky.

Yasser and his team put together a great catering package for us! Would highly recommend going with Halal Guys for your next catering event.

Great food and big portions. The chicken and gyro are always on point, and the white sauce is amazing. The manager gave really good service and made the experience even better. Super fast overall and solid prices. Definitely a go-to spot when you want something tasty and filling.

We had the Beef sandwich and the pita was amazingly fresh and soft and the beef was tender and tasty. The tomatoes and lettuce were fresh too. The prices are very reasonable and the service is fast and friendly. Will definitely go back here when we’re passing thru the area.
