La Messina Coffee House

Very cute coffee shop on Main St in Fort Lee that opened up just 2 months ago. We parked across the street in the parking lot area near the Post Office. I met Leo who was so nice and he let me try some pistachio milk and recommended the iced pistachio latte. I love trying local coffee shops and glad that I could support them. I’ll definitely stop again when I drive through Fort Lee!

The best coffee in town, especially their cold brew! It’s very hard to find a cafe around here that specializes in coffee, but look no further than La Messina Coffee House. Add in the phenomenal hospitality from the owner and staff… it’s a no brainer to frequent this establishment. From the drinks to the pastries to the cafe itself, everything is immaculate and super clean. We had a few americanos and a cold brew today (see photos).

Though small, this café manages to provide spacious individual tables for each guest, which is wonderful. In a neighborhood filled with cramped, crowded, and chaotic cafés, this is a truly relaxing oasis. The barista was incredibly attentive and thoughtful, providing outstanding service. Without being asked, they offered tissues when my child had a runny nose and even cut up a croissant into small pieces for my child to eat more easily. Receiving such considerate and detailed service is exceptionally rare in this country. If I had one wish, it would be for a slightly larger dessert menu. That said, we will definitely be back!

While Fort lee NJ has many wonderful cafes, I would rate La Messina the best among those many. It has the best coffee I have tasted for a while! Newly renovated, very comfy cozy and clean interior. A cup of coffee and a muffin came out to be around 10$ which is very reasonable to me.

If you're having a hectic day and need a place to zen out, look no further. This is the spot where you can quaff your coffee and, if you're feeling a bit peckish, grab a bite to eat. They serve all types of espresso drinks, drip coffee, and even hot chocolate. They don't, however, serve tea, which actually surprised me. Needing to escape the hot temperature, I grabbed an iced coffee. I requested not too much ice, but unfortunately, I received too much, and that gave me a headache. The ambiance here is serene, and they even have books and very comfortable coffee tables and sofas for you to relax. I happened to spy a chessboard and made my move. Game on: E4. I can't say anything about the food since I wasn't feeling hungry. The server was nice, but I was a bit disappointed he didn't liste
