The Duck Room

What a cool space! Reminds me of the shop in my hometown where we used to go to buy CDs, t-shirts, blacklight posters, incense, and yes they had a backroom for "water pipes." There are in fact a bunch of ducks, from little wildlife figurines to comics. The space has an intimate, indie vibe. We appreciated that there was a big cooler of water, though it ran out quickly and could have used a refill. The bartender was very kind and gave me the Wifi password. Only three tiny tables--ours was set up around a support beam and was very rickety. We're not 20 anymore and need to sit down during a three-hour show. But it was a wonderful time and I'm thankful we did get a table and some hard little stools in the long run. Nice, clean bathrooms with welcoming signs that were very meaningful on the

Great, intimate, room. We saw Wheatus and it was amazing! Only holds 200-250 people, sold out show, it was great! Highly recommend.

Be prepared to stand--no seating. As a first-timer, it was not obvious where to find the entrance once inside the restaurant. We waited at the main bar hoping to ask staff for help, but finally gave up on being helped and grabbed someone who was leaving, who helped us. Appreciated that the sound crew kept the volume at a reasonable level. Audience was a bit chatty for my taste, even when the band asked them to tone it down for a quiet song. Music was plenty loud but not so loud that we needed ear plugs. Decor was very cute.

Iconic music venue with history that feels within reach. Small space for intimate shows where you can very much feel the energy of the bands on stage.

Great venue to see bands. Saw Royal Thunder. Talk about a girl with some pipes!!!
