Taco Buddha

We are Brazilian, but we have lived in Mexico for over 10 years and really miss Mexican food here! The seasoning at Tacos Buddha took me right back to Mexico! Everything was very fresh and delicious... The corn tortillas were very tasty, and the guacamole was a delight! We really enjoyed it. The service is great and the place is very pleasant. It was a lovely surprise.

Taco Buddha is a cool little hang in a nice walking neighborhood in University City. They’ve got a little bit of indoor seating but most of the tables are on the patio out front. Really tasty tacos but not what I would call authentic street tacos. The queso is really good too. The ordering system at each table was also really easy to use. Chips were a little thinner than I prefer but still salty and pretty good. The margaritas aren’t the best in the city, but they’re tasty enough to order again next time. Overall if you like tacos like I do, you should give this place a try.

My favorite place in St. Louis! I moved away and I miss Taco Buddha more than my friends sometimes. (They know this! 🤪) I’ve brought anyone who ever visited me here. I want someone to franchise it in Pawleys Island, SC (where I moved) because I selfishly want to be able to have Taco Buddha more than once a year and because I know the people would love it!! Please please please come to South Carolina! I’ll probably be ack tomorrow for one more taco & marg before I fly back out!

The marg and the busan (November special) are excellent! But the biloxi fried shrimp taco was my favorite today. Excellent place and patio!

I love this place. I went twice this week. This time I tried the Del Rio, and the taco special of the month the Busan. Both delicious. The chips are light and crisp, the green salsa is thick and served warm. The service is on point. Thanks!
