The Dish Kailua

The best food. Literally. We have tried the poke nachos (spicy poke and shoyu) and the garlic chicken. Great remodel of the building and use of the space. Love the little bar and the sports TV vibe.

Between my wife and I, we’ve had just about everything on the menu available so far. All of it has been delicious and the staff and owners are incredibly kind and accommodating. This is already one of the best places to get lunch in Kailua. I love the steak and shrimp plate!

Highly recommend this restaurant if you're visiting Honolulu. It what's the best home-cooked food I've had on the island. A short drive from Waikiki. If you want to try authentic Hawaiian food with a great atmosphere and you're also able to watch sports as well, I definitely recommend the checking it out. The food was amazing! So if you're on the island and want to try some real Hawaiian dishes then the dish is definitely the spot! Plus it just felt good to get away from Waikiki and all the tourists and actually get to see and experience more of the local scenery. The drive there was beautiful through the mountains as well as the area itself.

Incredible! Tried their ahi katsu and squid luau. Can’t wait to go back and work through the rest of the menu!!
