Was craving Mexican food, and had faith in the reviews. Was not disappointed! Fast and friendly service. Ordered the chile verde wet burrito and the California burrito. The taste was probably the best on this side of the island! Will definitely come back! #support local

Found Maria Bonita Lunch Wagon at just the right moment after being turned away elsewhere, and I’m really glad I did. I arrived just after a rush, and although the cook looked understandably tired, he was friendly and welcoming. I ordered the Chili Verde wet burrito, and it was outstanding. The carnitas pork was incredibly tender and flavorful, the ingredients were well balanced and fresh, and everything worked together beautifully. I think there was even some potato in there, which made it extra comforting and filling. It really hit the spot. Great food, good vibes, and a reminder of why food trucks can be the best meals you find. I’ll definitely be back.

Ordered fish tacos plate and California burritos plate. Total $36 California burrito is huge!! I was not big fun of this beans but all good. I recommend to calling to order before you go! It gets pretty busy

Old food truck run by what looked like a father (super nice) and son. Food was great and so were the prices considering how expensive ingrediants are right now in Hawaii. Just 6 min from the beach and 3 min from the main part of town. We tried the Taquitos, Spicy Burrito and Fish Tacos. Not disappointed with any of it though the burrito was the best. Not to be overlooked or under appreciated was salsa. Great flavor and just the right amount of heat. Want to come here again though not sure we will he back in the area. One thing to note is that they are CASH ONLY so come prepared.

Born and raised in San Diego, so I’m always hesitant on Mexican food. Came to this truck on Friday and when I tell you it was PHENOMENAL. Literally felt like I was back home. The señor was super friendly. I got the lengua tacos (homemade tortillas!!!!) and while I was still eating my first one, I couldn’t emphasize how good it was and how I needed to buy more. Didn’t even need to put salsa on it because the taste was just so good. Can’t wait to come back.
