Kailua Beach

Beautiful, quiet, perfect for beginner ocean swimming, amazing views, clean, life guard on duty. Bathroom and rinsing station as well. Get there early due to approximately only 25 parking spaces. Short 3 minute walk to beach from parking lot. Also be aware of it's a hot spot for surf fishing. They can take up some beach yardage.

Beautiful beach. Not crowded compare to other big beaches like Lanikai or Waikiki. The reason why they have lot of parking, you don’t need to fight people for a spot. Finding parking in Waikīki was an absolute nightmare. The beach is not rocky at all, the sand is soft and water is clear. Very peaceful there. The waves was not too strong when I’m there but definitely have to be careful. I saw some people snorkeling and paddling boarding as well

🌊 Kailua Beach Park — pure magic, pure peace. This is the place where your brain just switches off and your soul connects with nature. Every time I come here, I feel amazing — like all the noise, stress, traffic (even though there’s not much) just disappears. ✅ It’s the ultimate escape from city noise. ✅ The beach, the park — it’s not just a place, it’s a power spot, a place of energy. I highly recommend it to anyone who wants to reset, recharge, and feel the real Hawaii. One of the best places on Oahu — no question. 🌴☀️💙

Beautiful beach. More parking spots than most beaches on this island but would still advise coming early.

Perfect beach for families and novice swimmers. There are public restrooms, with an open concept change area. We loved the fine grain/soft sand.
