The Cottage at Wicks

The Cottage didn't disappoint. We stopped in during our weekend stay in Saugatuck. Even though it was freezing out...upon entering we were warmed up by the cozy feel and fireplace. Definitely get a reservation. We started with craft cocktails...wow so good. Dinner was exceptional and so filling. The staff was spot on and friendly from the moment we arrived. Would highly recommend.

We hosted our rehearsal dinner at the Cottage and we had a great experience! The food was delicious and they worked with us to tailor the menu to our preferences, the service was great, the space is so beautiful, and the cocktails were delicious! I would definitely recommend hosting your event here!

So from start to finish: The place was almost empty yet we waited a longer time than anticipated to get sat. Once we got sat, the waitress was very friendly and helpful on suggesting drinks and our drinks were phenomenal! We had to wait an even longer time to cash out, (primary because they got busy). But hey- we were on vacation and in no rush! I will say we spent $42 on 2 drinks with tip. So if you don’t want to spend $$$ and/or wait for service, this place is not for you. But, if you want an ambience like never before and delicious cocktails this is an excellent choice!

Outstanding experience at The Cottage at Wicks. We hosted a party of 16 and everything was handled flawlessly. We enjoyed appetizers, fresh salads, and a fantastic surf and turf for the main course, followed by key lime pie that was the perfect finish to the meal. They also surprised us with a birthday cake, which was absolutely outstanding and a really thoughtful touch. The drink menu was excellent as well—great variety and well-crafted cocktails that paired perfectly with the meal. Sydney and Jessica were spot-on all evening—attentive, professional, and genuinely welcoming without ever being intrusive. The food, service, and atmosphere all came together for a great night. Highly recommend and we’ll absolutely be back.

There’s no denying that the property is nicely decorated and visually appealing. Everything feels curated and stylish, and the atmosphere is quiet, refined, and undeniably pleasant.
