The CODfather, Proper Fish & Chips

First time ever being to COD father, went with a friend who’s been there before. First off when you get there, there is a line about 15-20 deep prior to even opening! That should tell you something. We got in, ordered 2 fish and chips baskets, and drinks. I believe we were order 17. It took maybe 15 mins for the server to bring to us, which as busy as they were was fast! When we made it through the door, I looked out the window, and the line was still long outside! There is lots of first responder memorabilia hanging up and on display which was historical, and nice to see! The cos was delicious! The fries were great as well. 100% recommend! Only complaint, with all the people not enough seating HOWEVER it is a smaller building so understandable.

See Nick at the bar for a solid pour and good conversation. The star of the show is the fish and chips -you will not find better this side of the pond. Crispy on outside and perfectly cooked. The cod is fresh caught not farm raised. I forgot to take a pic cause it smelled so good. We will be back ! Thanks CODfather!

Amazing Fish n chips! And at a fair price. The kids meal was a great deal and my boys loved it. The house made tartar sause was fantastic. We went on a Friday night and it was PACKED so plan ahead.

My wife and I were visiting Charleston and decided to do a little research to find a nice spot for lunch. She came across this charming place in North Charleston, and we decided to take a little detour just to try out the Cod Father. I'm really glad we did because the food was fantastic! I definitely recommend giving it a try the next time you're craving some delicious fish.

Such a great place! Fish and Chips so darn good! Great atmosphere able to sit outside nice day! Can get beer as well! Best Fish and Chip around hands down!
