Dorchester County Library - North Charleston Branch

I'm so happy this library was built! Going all the way down on Old Trolley Rd was inconvenient in many ways. I think it's the perfect size and they offer so many things! I'm looking forward to the book selection growing. I've placed requests for books and they always come super quick from other branches which is really nice. The staff are really helpful and friendly. I'd say this is a great addition to the North Charleston area!

Awesome new library and so close! Staff is amazing, especially Kasey who helps my son with all his manga needs. Kasey is the best- friendly, professional and knowledgeable!

Honestly a rather poor selection of literature but that’s not their fault, this library is pretty new. Very clean area with a wide, if not deep, range of materials and a large computer area as well as ample seating. Staff was very friendly and they were very happy to see me get a library card

Bright, clean building with helpful staff. Book selection is limited, however, but you can request books from other branches/counties through SC Lends.

The lady was very friendly and helpful.
