This place is an absolute gem! The owner is just the sweetest person and a fantastic chef. My go-to is the Hoboken girl with a cinnamon bagel! My husband got the Big Big Q and it was amazing. We sat outside in the sunshine at one of the little tables. Everything is made from scratch and with love and it shows. Lovely conversation and such good vibes. Could not recommend enough.

Really cool local cafe/bakery! I spoke with Camilla inside who was very kind, and she made all the food fresh herself. There are plenty of options of bagels and pastries to choose from, and multiple types of breakfast or lunch sandwiches. There is coffee, but currently there is only hot coffee options, as there is no ice machine yet. I asked Camilla about this and she said they have not been able to afford an ice machine yet, but are hoping to have the ability to make iced coffee by next year. I recommend “The Billy” for a sandwich, and also the apple turnover is very good. The Raspberry Crumb tart thing (forgot the name) was also amazing, and I ordered that on Camilla’s recommendation. It was my first time coming to Chatty Magpies and when I say I was greeted with so much kindness I mean it! My boyfriend and I got to speak with the owner and feel her passion for feeding others the best food! She was kind enough to let us try her fresh brioche buns she made free of charge and it was incredible! We ordered the Laks bagel sandwich and the the Billy bagel sandwich and boy are they phenomenal! I highly recommend getting the Laks:) The bagels are ginormous and taste very fresh so it’s 1000% worth the stop! I highly recommend coming in because you won’t be let down! I stopped in this shop for a quick breakfast and I was pleasantly surprised. From the kind service to the quality of baked goods I couldn’t ask for a better breakfast spot. The owner was a lovely hardworking women and you can tell how much she loves her bakery. I would 1000% recommend and I will definitely be back.

Everything is made from scratch—from the buttery, flaky pastries to the perfectly chewy bagels—and you can taste the love and craftsmanship in every bite.
