Carne asada jim bowie style. The sauce is where its at with Jose's rice. Im so glad they brought it back. I goes with anything on the menu. Petit filets were better, Carne asada tends to get burnt, but still edible.. Other items in the menu are good. Fajitas, etc. Enjoy you won't be disappointed
It was great! The food is surprisingly fast to come outta the kitchen, our waiter was great and the food was AMAZING!
I have been visiting the border Cafe and had a good experience overall. The food is tasty, but the menu is a bit limited compared to other restaurants. The service is generally good and the staff are friendly. However, the waitress sometimes forgets a few things, and we noticed the bill had an extra item once and another time something we ordered was missing, so it’s a good idea to double-check the bill before paying. One thing I really liked is that there was no wait time when we visited, which made the experience convenient. They also have a fun theme at times and staff may dress based on the occasion, which adds a nice touch to the atmosphere. Overall, it’s a nice place for a casual meal with good food, but just make sure to review your order and bill.
They brought back the Camp Town Shrimp! We also had queso, margs and 2 salads. Which were reasonably priced. Haven't been there in years so glad we decided to go yesterday.
We were visiting the area and stopped by the Border Cafe for dinner at about 6 pm on a Thursday. The place was packed, but we got a table right away. The first impression is that the place is noisy as they play loud music, which forces patrons to talk loudly to hear each other. The 2nd impression was that the atmosphere is vibrant and family-friendly as there were many families with their children. As soon as we were seated, a warm basket of tortilla chips and salsa was delivered by a friendly and bubbly server (Jade), who took our drink order. The menu is a combination of Mexican and Cajun food with reasonable prices. We ordered a plate of 2 chicken tacos ($9.87) and 2 fish tacos ($11.96). Each plate comes with a choice of 2 sides like black bean, rice, and blackened broccoli. We'll
