NYC Kebab & Gyro

4.5 Stars. Food was really good and we will be back. The only reason for the 1/2 star ding was the long wait for food. Only one person before us but it took 20 minutes for a Gyro, Kofka and fries. The large portions and generous spicy Masala fries were great.

Some of the best Afghan food I’ve had. i could eat the Kabuli rice on its own. The chicken, lamb and beef kabobs were all delicious. The salad was refreshing. I would skip the Baklava as it wasn’t crispy and a bit dry

We decided to check this place out based on its high reviews. This is not a full-service restaurant—you order food at the counter and pick it up when it’s ready. They only sell bottled water, so you’ll need to pay for water if that’s what you want. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We ordered the lamb chops and lamb skewers with salad. The portions were a decent size, and the meat was deliciously marinated. However, the lamb was slightly overcooked. Hence, the 4-star rating.

I had an excellent experience at this halal restaurant. The food was absolutely delicious everything was full of flavor, fresh, and clearly made with care. You can really tell they put effort into the quality of their ingredients and cooking. The portions were generous and very satisfying. On top of the great food, the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming. They were patient, helpful, and made the whole experience even better. The atmosphere was comfortable and inviting, making it a great place to sit down and enjoy a meal. I’m really glad I tried this place and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommend to anyone looking for great halal food and excellent service!

Ordered a combo #1 and oh my goodness knocked me off my socks! The food here is fresh and delicious and the staff are quick and attentive.the stream of people are not bad for a weekend it should be packed for this quality of food! Highly recommend definitely come in don't cheat yourself with some chicken nuggets get the combos with salad and white sauce and if you like hot sauce add that too! Can't even add a picture bc I tore that plate uppp.
