Banh Mi Van’s is hands down the best Vietnamese banh mi in Delaware! The specialty banh mi are generously filled with perfectly seasoned meats, tangy pickled carrots and daikon, and finished with their Vietnamese mayo that’s buttery, light, and never oily. The bread alone is incredible—even four days later it’s still crispy on the outside and light, fluffy, and airy on the inside. Their Vietnamese coffee is rich, bold, and absolutely delicious—the perfect complement to ALL their banh mi. And most importantly, Van, herself makes the experience even better. She’s always pleasant, welcoming, and genuinely gracious—someone who clearly takes pride in both her food and his customers. If you love banh mi, this place is an absolute must. 🥖🇻🇳✨

Their banh mi is probably the best I've ever had and I've had a lot. The heo quay banh mi is delicious. The crispy pork belly skin is crunchy and the butter really rounds out the perfect banh mi. The nuoc mia (sugarcane juice) is good too. Friendly and quick service.

Let me tell yall….. about this amazing sandwich I got today after a long hour of grocery shopping. Even after driving 40 minutes back home it was still crispy bread, crunchy meat and chilled veggies. It’s absolutely NOTHING bad I could say about this sandwich I’m just sad I didn’t get another one. My gosh this is one to write home about. I love the seating are where I waited for my meal to be prepared enough room for the whole family. My first time visit I started with #1 with every visit I’ll just work my way down the list. Very good!

This is one of my favorite Vietnamese food places..!! They have a lot of special dishes, like BBQ pork & seafood pho, pork chop rice, and fried chicken rice — all of them taste so amazing!! The owner is super nice. I usually order hot Vietnamese coffee, and she always takes care of it for me. Whenever someone asks me for a good Vietnamese restaurant, I always recommend Bami Van.

The lady is always so nice and remembers her customers well. I crave their fire cracker pork belly sandwich and asks for extra veggies, & they happily serve their incredible food!!
