The Bento Box Sushi Bar and Asian Kitchen

The food and atmosphere were lovely. The sushi is some of the best you'll find in the area. The drinks are well mixed and delicious. The menu options are plentiful, so sushi is only part of the story.

We are here a couple nights ago for our back to school celebration. It was our first time and it did not disappoint! Staff was knowledgeable and accommodating to my GF needs and Chef created 6 incredibly delicious GF rolls for us along with a GF dessert and the Mochi. I also had a watermelon sour mocktail that tasted just like a watermelon sour patch kid- soooo yummy! Everything was delicious and had beautiful presentations. Service was efficient and all of the staff were so kind and inviting. Prices were very reasonable, we had 6 rolls, 1 drink, two salads, and one entree and it was $115 before tip. We have absolutely nothing negative to say, we will be back for more!!

In town on vacation and decided to support local businesses. We opted to sit outside which had a lovely water feature. Our server was prompt with our drinks and taking our orders. The manager even stop by our table to check on us too which was so nice. Hannah, was such a joy and even helped us find more places to eat, upon request. Our sushi, dim sum and desert was flavorful and we must say its some of the best we've tasted. The only thing we'd change is for them to switch out the algae water out of the water feature for clean water.

BOOK THE RESERVATION: this is hands down one of the best sushi restaurants in town. They get fresh fish and seafood weekly. My favorites are the Salmon tempura roll and the Komodo dragon roll. The Chicken ka soy is delicious but it does have a little spice. The owner Chef Lee is the most personable man and will make sure your dinner is going well. WHEN TRYING TO SIT IN THE EVENING: they don’t do same day reservations after five so call before 5PM for a dinner reservation. If you don’t have a reservation on FRI and SAT walk in, put your name on the list and wait for them to call you. BOOKING THE BEST SEATS: For couples: ask for 200, 211, 1+2 at the sushi bar, 3+4 at the sushi bar, 12+13 at the sushi bar, or 201, and 205. Best sushi in Wilmington! Frequent here regularly and love all the variety. Food is tremendous and atmosphere is great. Recommend sitting at the sushi bar!
